I used to love thumbing through books, especially historical fiction novels that had something to do with China and Mao’s Cultural Revolution. Now I spend the majority of my day at work staring at a computer screen, only to come home to stare at a computer screen perusing through different food-related websites, my blog, and anything else of interest.

Don’t Have To Be A Woman To Enter In The Miss Universe Pageant
“Transgender women will be allowed to participate in the Miss Universe beauty pageant next year”, officials announced Tuesday.
In other words:
A person who has a penis attached to HIS body and identifies HIMself as a woman will now be allowed to tape up his junk, throw on a wig, cake on his makeup and turn the Miss Universe Organization into a laughing stock (as if it wasn’t already).
Still waiting for the “April fools” line eh? It’s not coming. Transgender is defined as the state of one’s “gender identity” (self-identification). Maybe they didn’t read the title of the pageant…. The word BEAUTY IS in it!

CAPITALISM IS VERY IMPORTANT- the government needs to keep their paws off private institutions or we fall to shit! The Occupy Wall Street was basically all about big corporation and greed but they are just lazy mother fuckers who want everything handed to them! Same mother fuckers who are on food stamps… if you want to fucking complain get a real job and then talk to me about it!

Government should stay the fuck away from basic freedoms including capitalism and private corporations and businesses (or public) and government should stay the fuck away and have no opinion on things that do not affect their lives-aka gay marriage-abortion!

FBI has an eye on social networks. Apparently social networks are the psychics of the Web. A free psychic- score! The FBI wants to develop an early-warning system that will alert possible domestic and global threats via “open source” information. WTF is this? Basically it is any content you or me or the crazy person they are looking for posts onto social networks publicly.
Hmm… a couple problems with this fine thinking of our “clever” US Federal Bureau of Investigation. First, they’re banking on the fact that the crazy person will actually use a social network- why would anyone want to talk about how they are going to go ape shit? Second, if the crazy person does use social networks, the FBI believes they will make this public information! Oh I see it now, yes of course, the crazy man will create a public event with date, time and address for everyone to come participate, duh!

The FBI wishes to create an application that combines information from Twitter, Facebook and Google Maps. The Strategic Information and Operations Center (SOIC) made this request public when it posted their “Social Media Application” market research on the web on 19 January.
What is going on with freedom of speech? Keywords can only narrow down the information so much. The amount of information that is going to be flooding their application will be overwhelming. Plus, it will be useless, they will be flushing it down the toilets right before they realize this is a stupid idea that is a waste of money and flushing THAT down the toilet.
